About Me

I find it hard to sit still. Even when I’m watching a movie, you’ll probably catch me knitting, spinning wool, or making something with my hands. I find a great deal of satisfaction in making, whether it’s a finished textile, a bouquet of flowers I’ve grown in the garden, vegetables turned into a meal, or a commercial project I’ve spent hours working on that finally gets installed and photographed. There’s something about seeing an idea become a real, tangible thing that fills me with wonder and joy. I think making things is my raison d’être.

I’m endlessly curious and happiest when I’m learning, experimenting, and making something I’ve never made before. I love the slow satisfaction of working toward something that once existed only in my imagination, and the little bit of disbelief that comes when it finally exists in the real world.
